Just a reminder for all of you nearsighted morons who may feel the need to take a page out of Ms. Hazel Mirkweed's book by flooing in a false report, there is a war on with real needs and really conflicts that extend beyond your own safety. I realize that this might be difficult to comprehend for some people whose paranoid outstrips their rational sense, but please be sure to double check that that Death Eater you think might be lurking in the shadows isn't just a tree and that that Dark Mark that you've spotted over your neighborhood's house isn't just a bunch of clouds backlit by moonlight.
It will save everyone a lot of time and a significant number of headaches.

WARDED TO MOODY, BARTY CROUCH, & RUFUS SCRIMGEOUR
Miss Wilton's interview yielded mostly expected results. The only details that she could give about her attackers were that they "sounded like men" and that they were "wearing masks," but she also made mention of an interesting fact as to the methods of torture. The attackers used the Imperius Curse to force Miss Catchlove to inflict the damage that was sustained to Miss Wilton's lips by tearing out the stitches.
If I might share a hypothesis, while the act of sewing Miss Wilton's mouth shut could simply be a symbolic reminder, the violence evident in ripping the stitches out and the emotional trauma that forcing her friend to inflict such harm upon her would provoke, this seems to be the act of someone with a personal vendetta against both Miss Catchlove and Miss Wilton rather than just a random attack. |
